Art journal page (MOOD swing)

Hi everyone!!


Today I'm here with my new Art Journal page:


Would you like to know how I made the page?? Very simple:

1- painted the background using black gesso.
2-i used small circles stencil & arrows stencil to add texture with modeling paste & with white distress paint.
3-i stamped the quote .
4-i colored the stamped image using Dylusion stamps,colored them using prima watercolors.

BACK TO SCHOOL CARD: DT CARD FOR THE CRAFTY ADDICTS BLOG

Good morning crafty friends
Today, I'm here to tell you about the latest challenge over at The Crafty Addicts. 




 This month our theme as always is 'Anything Goes' but you could follow our twist of 'Back to School'. Sponsoring us is the fabulous Polkadoodles. For my DT inspiration, I am using this little image  

 Knowledge is Everything

On a 6*6 square card ,I matt and layered Some die cuts & pattern paper& paper doily.the image, i printed it to 200gsm paper then watercolor it then fussy cut it & add it to the card.I finished it off using words stickers ,paper flowers&Nuvo crystal drops.

Flowers Mixed Media Handmade Card

Good morning everyone!


I have a bright card to show you all today......CHECK IT OUT!!!







My card has a lovely mixed media style ... here is step by step tutorial for it.
i painted  watercolor paper piece with Gesso & left it till dry.
i have made a wash using Mica powder & water spray bottle.


and left it to dry.

covered some natural feathers with golden acrylic paint.

and covered a piece of cloth with pearl white acrylic paint.

then i distressed a piece of old book page.

added a texture to the card using sharp paper cutter.

prepared some embellishments to decorate the card. 

i have created a word frame using metal frame & chipboard stickers.

i added stamping touches to the card to give more interest.

i have used 3D gloss gel with micro beads to ad a nice pretty touches to the card.

finally i decorated the card a little bit using Nuvo crystal drops.
